Karen Allen brings a wealth of experience with her; a practitioner in real estate in Georgia since 1990 and an associate broker since 1994, she was a high school mathematics teacher from 1964-66 and 1976-1990, taking time out to raise two daughters and a son. Before settling in Senoia, GA,  Karen had worked &  lived  in many places, including: Bridgeport CT, Washington, D.C.,  Bonn, Germany (1967-69), Dakar, Senegal (1973-75), Oslo, Norway (1976-82) and Mons, Belgium (1982-89).

When you hire Karen, you get the benefit of her proven professionalism, knowledge, reputation and judgment.  Karen is a full-time Realtor® and an Associate Broker.  She has worked hard to achieve the Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation, the  Equal Opportunity Certification, the Certified Relocation Specialist certification, and most of all the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation.

 Karen believes it is important to stay informed; she is involved on the local, State and National levels on educational issues.  Her success with both Purchasers and Sellers is evidenced by her continuous membership in the Million Dollar Club of the Fayette County Board of Realtors. Karen will gladly supply you with names of past and present clients if you so wish.

Active in both the Fayette and Coweta Boards of Realtors, Karen has served as Equal Opportunity Chairperson, Orientation Chairperson, Ways & Means Chairperson, Education Chairperson, and as a State Director to the Georgia Association of Realtors®. Presently she is a member of the Professional Standards Committee and beginning January 2007 will serve as a Local Director.  Karen has been an active member of the Council of Residential Specialists since the late 1990’s.  She has been on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chapter CRS for several years and just finished up two terms as President of the Georgia Council of Residential Specialists. In 2008 she will be working on the Forms Committee of the Georgia Association of Realtors as well as serving as a Local Director for the Fayette County Board of Realtors.

In her community, Karen served as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission of Senoia during 1998 and 1999, as a member and Officer of the Senoia Historic Society, and as a member of the Senoia Business Association.

Karen is married to a retired teacher and Georgia native. Their three grown children are all married and living in the Atlanta area.  Karen and Reynolds are delighted with  their six grandchildren
